Transformers
An isolation transformer is a device that separates the elecrtical power supply of a ship from the shore power supply. It works by creating an electrical barrier between the two systems, preventing stray electrical currents from flowing between them. An isolation transformer usually comes in 120 to 120 volts. A step-down transformer is a 450 to 120 converting the voltage from 450 to 120 for standard use.
